3D printing, reverse engineering and jigs in Glasgow

HW3D helps people and businesses in Glasgow replace parts they can no longer buy, build tooling for production work and make repeat batches without moulds. We are based in Bothwell, near Uddingston, Glasgow, work across Lanarkshire and the rest of Scotland, and post parts UK-wide and worldwide.

Replace the part you can no longer buy

Bring us a worn, broken or unavailable component, or send photographs and measurements. We rebuild it in CAD, print a prototype to check the fit and then make the replacement.

Jigs and fixtures for Glasgow workshops and production lines

Custom jigs, guides, fixtures and change-parts for assembly, inspection and packaging work that has become slow, inconsistent or hard to repeat.

Batch production without tooling fees

Batch runs range from 10 to 10,000+ parts, with no tooling fees. Prototypes and one-off parts are welcome too.

Equipment

We design in Autodesk Fusion 360, 3D scan with Revopoint scanners and print on Bambu Lab printers.

Customer reviews

  • “Top class service and end product. Quick, responsive, polite, pleasant and had delivered what we needed inside 72hrs. Amazing service and our new go to 3D printer.”

  • “Working with Harry has been an excellent experience. Alongside our lead design engineer, Harry played a key role in reviewing and refining our existing CAD designs, identifying design issues, and implementing practical improvements to ensure the components were both functional and manufacturable.

He also produced several new CAD designs from scratch to meet evolving project requirements. Throughout the project, his technical knowledge, attention to detail, and collaborative approach were invaluable.

Communication was always clear and professional, and I'd have no hesitation recommending Harry to anyone looking for high-quality CAD design and engineering support.”

    — Dave Boyle, President & Co-Founder, Flytpath Aviation
