Turn an idea into a manufacturable product. Product design and prototyping in Glasgow and Lanarkshire
A practical development path for founders, teams and makers: define what matters, make it tangible, learn from it and prepare the version you can repeat. HW3D is based in Bothwell, near Uddingston, Glasgow, serving Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Scotland, with UK-wide and worldwide supply.
CAD work is done in Autodesk Fusion 360, existing objects can be captured with Revopoint 3D scanners, and prototypes are printed on Bambu Lab printers. When a design is ready, batch runs range from 10 to 10,000+ parts, with no tooling fees.
Discovery → design → prototype → refine → manufacture
Work is scoped through staged quotes. NDA requirements, ownership and deliverables are agreed in writing. Existing CAD requires a production-readiness review.

Design is not promised free of charge, and manufacturability is assessed rather than guaranteed. Budget ranges: under £500, £500–£1500, £1500–£5000 and £5000+.
